The Board of Directors of Minnesota Freeze is excited to announce that Brent “Lil Fish” Fischer is the Interim Head Coach of the Women’s Football program for 2019. He brings a lifetime of experience in footy, as a player at various levels including for Minnesota Freeze as well as for USA Revolution National team as well as as a de facto assistant coach for the Minnesota Freeze Men over the past couple of years.
We are confident that Lil Fish is the best candidate to lead the women’s football program to oversee the operations, provide guidance and make final football decisions.
Lil Fish issued the below statement accepting the role:
I am honored and excited to oversee one of the most successful, vibrant women’s footy programs in the USAFL. In this endeavor, I view my foremost responsibility as empowering the existing and future leaders of this team, to continue building a culture and program that belongs to each and every player. Both the present and the future is incredibly bright for this program, and I am eager to get started on a successful 2019 campaign that will hopefully culminate in some hardware in Sarasota. Carn the Freeze!
